History

In the mid-1950s, the thriving northern region of Santa Fe, an area typically producing cotton and cereals, encountered an obstacle when it came to technifying production, given that the few existing sowing machines were imported and lacked a full adaptation to these lands. Faced with this reality, Humberto Dolzani began to repair this type of implement, and a short time later, motivated by a significant increase in work, he decided to create implements designed for the real needs of regional producers. Passing 1962, Humberto and Carlos Dolzani, together with Alberto Bianchi, gave shape to a new firm that was born, DOLZANI y CIA S.R.L., which with the passing of time, became known as DOLBI S.A.
As a kick-off, in 1962 DOLBI designed and manufactured a row cultivator, followed some time later by the first 5-furrow combine planters.
Over time, and thanks to the support of a thriving region that grew at the pace of the company, DOLBI abandoned its original facilities, moving to its modern industrial plant of 32,000 square meters, with a covered area of 14.000 square meters, where in addition of the industrial sectors, commercial offices, sales room, technical department and research and development were integrated.
